Monaghan County Museum have teamed up with our colleagues in Monaghan County Libraries and Wicklow Willow to host the event below. I would appreciate it if you could please bring this event to the attention of your staff and pupils alike. This is event is free of charge and no booking is required.
St. Patrick’s Day – Build A Giant Shamrock Workshop Series – Friday 12th – Tuesday 16th March at 6pm
We have teamed up with our colleagues in Monaghan County Libraries and Wicklow Willow to bring you a week of St. Patrick’s Day Fun Events. Learn all about St Patrick, have fun foraging, make lovely love hearts, join hearts to make
a Giant Shamrock, cut and colour drawings, make a St Patrick’s Day badges and lots of fun information and links. Colouring sheets and other fun activities will also be available on www.monaghan.ie/museum

Starting on Friday 12th March each evening at 6pm until Tuesday 16th March a video will be uploaded daily to the museum’s Facebook page detailing how to create your giant shamrock in time for the day itself. This event is suitable for all the family and no booking is required.
Under normal circumstances this event would have taken place in the museum and photographs would have been taken, which may be placed on the website, social media platforms, newsletters etc. If you wish to take photographs during this event for the purpose stated please email them to me. Under GDPR consent must be given. Please confirm by email if you wish photographs taken by you can be used by Monaghan County Museum.
